Soul's a little hard to find. She doesn't want to have a talk with Maka, so whenever she feels her close or hears her voice she starts to move. Soul can move pretty fast when she wants to and therefore she can give Maka a run for her money. She ends up searching out the place that someone is least likely to find her - the library.

Granted, it's closed so all she can do is sit on the steps and stare out at the night sky from there. But it's no different than what she wanted to do anyway.
